African Atomic Voices Network (AAVN)

The African Atomic Voices Network (AAVN) is a collaborative, career-development community for young professionals, students, and researchers from Africa (aged 18–35) who are working in, or passionate about, nuclear issues and related global security challenges such as artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and chemical & biological security.

The Network empowers African young professionals to shape global conversations and ensures that Africa’s voice is amplified in nuclear and broader global security discourse.

Eligibility

  • Nationals of African countries (aged 18–35)
  • Individuals with a strong interest in nuclear issues, artificial intelligence & emerging technologies, or chemical & biological security
  • Non-African professionals whose work focuses on Africa

We also invite senior professionals (aged 35+) to join our Mentors’ Network. This community brings together experienced experts who are committed to sharing their knowledge and supporting the growth of young professionals.
